When I saw this listing, I loved the vibe so much I changed my itinerary in hopes of being able to stay there!
I can't say enough good things about A Little Bit of Heaven. It truly is an amazing escape into paradise!
The place is beautiful and Kelly and Ellie have gone above and beyond to care for even the smallest details.
From the selection of local coffees, the fluffy white bathrobes, and the softest sheets I've ever slept on, everything was perfect!
I had everything I needed and more. The place is airy and bright with plenty of room to move about.
The kitchen was impeccably well-stocked. I was so thankful to have a washer and dryer to use.
Their place is centrally located among many attractions and Kelly and Ellie provided
excellent recommendations for things to do, places to see.
But my favorite was having use of their kayaks! They helped me haul one right down to the water on their property
and I was able to paddle out and see seals in the water! Amazing! Kelly and Ellie were both so very sweet and welcoming.
Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better stay.
This is officially my favorite property I've ever rented while traveling!
Hope to return in the future.

Kelly & Ellie's Place truly is a little bit of heaven. If you are thinking of staying anywhere else, just don't!
The location is perfect - quiet and surrounded by nature. The place itself is adorable and lovely -
the pictures don't really do it justice.
They had prepared every last detail for us,
we couldn't think of a single thing they could have done to make us feel more welcome.

THE KAYAKING IS MAGICAL!
I love staying in the Newport/Waldport/Yachats area. It's my favorite place on the Oregon Coast,
and coming with a friend rather than my sweetheart, I was looking for a new place to stay that could accommodate us both.
I picked Kelly & Ellie's place for 2 reasons-- the beautiful, bright, comfortable and comforting look of the place
and the free use of kayaks! Both were beyond what I'd hoped for. The space is light, welcoming, and comfortable,
and the kayaking is magical! Within our first 15 minutes on the water, we saw a bald eagle fly over.
Paddling down to the Lint Slough, we saw lots of seals and a dozen herons in a grove of trees.
On the way back, we saw five river otters playing on a floating dock. It was magical!
We hoped to see them again the next day, but during our shorter paddle, we "only" saw seals,
a couple herons, and a seagull catch and eat a crab! I'm a novice kayaker by the way;
this was only my 4th or 5th time out in a kayak, and my first time in a single kayak rather than a tandem!
Kelly and Ellie thought of everything you'd need for a lovely getaway whether you want to get on the water
or stay on the shoreline-- life jackets, mud towels, a grill, snacks, beach towels, and more!
Plus, with this location, you truly get the best of both worlds being right on the river
and less than 5 minutes drive to the beach. We were so warmly welcomed (with fresh-baked cookies!)
and on our send-off we got a tour of the Castaway Cove, leaving us daydreaming
about a return trip with my sweetie and even more friends.

THIS IS TRULY THE SWEETEST OF PLACES WITH THE KINDEST OF HOSTS
AND WE DIDN'T WANT TO LEAVE!
Two friends and I booked A Little Bit of Heaven for a second annual girl's trip to the coast.
Having stayed in a hotel the year previous we were looking for something more affordable and with a kitchen
and were excited about the uniqueness of the space. Kelly and Ellie's communication with us
about what we were interested in doing during our trip, restaurant and activity recommendations,
check-in information, and directions to their space was immediate and clear. I was impressed before we even arrived.
We drove in late on a Friday night and were greeted warmly with a tour of the apartment, help with our bags,
and freshly made cookies waiting for us in the kitchen. The space was larger than I expected
and was even more beautiful than the photos. The bed and pullout couch were extremely comfortable,
and extra blankets/pillows were easy to find. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals,
and had spices, oatmeal, tea/coffee, English muffins, and condiments already in it. The bathroom had toiletries,
bathrobes for each of us, fuzzy socks, and basic first aid supplies, a bluetooth speaker allowed us to play music,
there were board games in the closet, the TV and Blu-Ray player were easy to operate with instructions
and we instantly felt at home. Though we didn't use them, we had access to a washer and dryer,
as well as beach towels, chairs, sand toys, a portable grill, and life jackets and paddles for the canoe and kayaks.
Both Kelly and Ellie and the book in the room were full of suggestions on places to eat and shop,
and things to do in the Waldport/Newport/Yachats area. At the end of our weekend we were asked
if we had any suggestions for the space/our hosts and we were largely unhelpful
because the space had absolutely everything we needed and/or wanted. They truly thought of everything.
We are already talking about booking this space for next year--it is truly the sweetest of places
with the kindest of hosts and we didn't want to leave!
Thank you for this beautiful get away space--we can't wait to come back!

THE BEST AIRBNB WE HAVE STAYED IN!
We (two adults and a tween) stayed very comfortably in this studio apartment.
Each of us had our own bed (very comfy queen, fold-out full futon, and tri-fold mattress).
The bathroom is tight but efficient and beautifully appointed. Everything was fresh, newer, and clean.
We love the location next to an inlet off the tide-influenced Alsea River.
Kelly and Ellie provide kayaks and a canoe (along with life jackets) to guests.
We had a good time out on the river in the canoe looking for seals (saw one's head bobbing and checking us out).
I would definitely recommend it for all the extra touches
(including chocolate cookies warm from the oven upon arrival!)! The best AirBnB we have stayed in!

PERFECT FOR OUR FAMILY OF 4
Wow, where do I begin. The house was beyond perfect, everything we needed was available.
Perfect for our family of four . . . . Kelly & Ellie were Heaven Sent and really made us feel like family.
Their suggestions on places to visit were perfect and the crabbing off the dock was more than thrilling.

ABOVE AND BEYOND WHAT WE TYPICALLY EXPERIENCE
This place is even better than the pictures! The many windows let in coastal fresh air
and the space was larger than we anticipated. We especially enjoyed using the kayaks!
There are too many thoughtful touches to even list. Things like freshly-baked cookies, robes,
bathroom & kitchen supplies (more than usual), plush linens and towels, and satellite TV
all made this place truly special. The cloud theme was carried throughout in such thoughtful details.
I have already passed along my recommendation to stay here to others. We were a five minute drive to a wonderful beach,
which was nearly ours alone in July. The owner's recommendations on where to eat were terrific.
We also enjoyed exploring nearby Yachats, Seal Rock, and Newport during our stay.
The secluded setting was lovely and I anticipate returning in the future.
We had the perfect three generation bonding vacation thanks to this lovely place.
I travel often and use Airbnb, Homeaway, Booking, etc. quite often.
This was above and beyond what we typically experience.

EVERYTHING YOU COULD THINK OF WAS HERE AT THIS PLACE
Kelly & Ellie were the most outstanding hosts you could hope for. Their hospitality and welcoming nature
is something to strive for. Everything you could think of was here at this place
which made our trip even more comfortable. We also highly enjoyed our trip out into the kayaks -
we got to explore the bay, and see a bit of wildlife while kayaking.

This was my first experience with Airbnb, and it set the bar extremely high!!
Kelly and Ellie are amazing, gracious hosts that have thought of absolutely everything and then about 5 more things.
The room is beautiful and has everything you could possibly need, is in a quiet secluded location,
is central to at least 4 great beach towns we visited in our short 3 day stay. A very reasonable drive
to Newport, Yachats, and Depoe Bay, and of course Waldport.
They made amazing suggestions for things to do, places to eat, and places to explore...
And even so, we would have been perfectly content just holing up and never going out!!!

WE ABSOLUTELY LOVED STAYING HERE!
It’s private, quiet, and has everything you would need for a weekend away at the coast.
Kelly and Ellie have put a lot of thought into this home and it really shows through the small details
and especially through their hospitality and welcoming nature. The home is very clean, the bed is cozy,
the kitchen is stocked with supplies, the bathroom has pain killers and bandaids, the list goes on.
They added some personal touches to our stay which was so sweet of them. It’s very clear how much they love each other
and love their Oregonian lifestyle. They have easy access to 101 and it was a great home base
for the weekend as we traveled south to the sand dunes (Spinreel ATV’s) and north to Lincoln City.
We absolutely loved staying here! We would love to return one day with friends!

Kelly and Ellie were fantastic hosts and are overall amazing people! They gave us so much helpful information
to explore the area. They answered any and all questions we had and were always available.
They made us feel very welcomed! The house was so very beautiful and in such a gorgeous location.
We watched the tide come in and go out in the inlet and saw lots of wildlife. The bed and futon were super comfortable!
The room had everything we needed. We stayed for 10 days and it was nice to be able to cook
instead of having to eat out every meal. The kitchen has everything you need.
I can't say enough good things about this place. We will for sure come back!

IT WAS TRULY A LUXURIOUS STAY
Kelly & Ellie are not over-exaggerating when they call their listing "A Little Bit of Heaven".
The space was bigger than I expected and had far more amenities
than we could even use for our short weekend stay! Kelly & Ellie were both there to greet us
and walk us through the space. They were extremely warm and welcoming (despite our late check-in),
and they had so many great recommendations for activities and restaurants along the Coast!
We'll definitely have to try out their kayaks and knock a couple more items
off their suggestion list next time we go back! It was truly a luxurious stay, yet we also felt right at home :)

I TOLD MY HUSBAND WE SHOULD MAKE THIS A TRADITION
AND COME EVERY SUMMER!
There are so many great things to say about this place. It was our first Airbnb experience and it was amazing.
Their house wasn't too far from the town and the drive was scenic and beautiful.
Waldport is such a nice little town with a lot of life. Everyone was friendly as were Kelly & Ellie.
There is so much to do there and 3 days wasn't enough to discover it all! Kelly & Ellie's place was so comfortable,
relaxing and convenient, they literally thought of everything! I went with my husband and 5-year-old son.
What we loved about it was that after a whole day of exploring we were able to come here and unwind
and still somewhat keep the same routine we did at home. Having a refrigerator, stove and a full kitchen was so nice.
We were able to save money on food and use it towards other things. The bathroom was fully stocked
with all the amenities you could think of, towels galore and she even had a robe for my son,
which he loved so much! The small details to the place made it so comfortable.
I am very big on small details and they just thought of everything and I can't say that enough.
As I mentioned before, there are so many great things about this place I will be on here all day listing them!
Overall I highly recommend it. I told my husband we should make this a tradition and come every summer!
